It has been a few days since Spencer went to the emergency room so he decided to make a visit today. He was outside and a cinderblock fell on his leg and split it open, something that can only happen to Spencer. Of course he was climbing on it and knocked it off.
We cleaned it up, took a few pictures and called the doctor, who told us to bring him in. When I took him in, the nurse said “I’m glad your here Spencer. It has only been a week since the last visit and I was wondering where you were.” Cami joked that they should just have a standing appointment for him.
He got 4 stitches (bringing his total to 15). Dr. Ryan said he did awesome and will be just fine.They have to stay in for 10 days and his leg will be just fine.

We had a wedding reception at our house last night and there were come kids climbing on our 13 foot rock walls behind our house. The people there were flipping out about it. I went and told them it was ok, they do it all the time, and I’ve only ever had one kid fall off the wall.
Of course, it was Spencer.
man Spencer, you are going to be just like your Aunt Kelsey…I lost track of all her injuries and stitches long longago. I hate to say this but you may even beat her…although I wouldn’t wish that one you (or any one for that matter.) and like her you are one tough kid. Do we need to make a bubble suit for you? stay safe, gramma Jennis : )
