I have been thinking about this site long and hard throughout this summer. Thinking about what to do with it and the identity that I want it to have. I used it for a long time to record personal posts related to my family, with a few other miscellaneous posts sprinkled here and there, but have found that my wife does a much better job of capturing our family experiences. Therefore, unless it is something that I am directly involved in without her, I will leave the personal, family updates to her. Personally, I would much rather read what she has to say then what I have to say most days of the week anyways.
I have a few hobbies, mostly related to online marketing, SEO, website design and technology. I also have a few goals that are related to making them into more than a hobby and actually making some money at this whole internet thing. A novel concept, I know.
With that being said, I am going to begin transitioning this blog to me a sort of “home base” for my notes and what I learn throughout this process mostly for myself to reference and refer back to from time to time. I find that when I am researching a topic, I tend to notes down in several places both online and offline. If I can centralize everything into an online location, it could be a source of information that I can utilize and refer back to to track my progress, track my results and map everything out.
Chances are there will be much more failures then successes. I am okay with that because a successful life was never without failure, nor do I expect mine to be.
My advice: if you are interested in reading about my family and our experiences, check out Cami’s blog. She is the best. If you have some similar interests as mine, I invite you to join me here.
